Its just a dual-sided controller for android. Why would Nintendo sue them? And for what reason? Not like its a new thing.

Why would they?

And then you get a phone call and start fumbling about trying to rip the controllers off and end up dropping/breaking your phone.

Easy solution: headphones (which you most likely have on while gaming anyway).

Imagine actually "gaming" on mobile o-O

Don't need to. I actually do it. I beat Stela and Cat Quest 2 recently, for instance. Games that also are on Steam. Playing it on mobile with a controller is no different from a Switch.

Why would it be any less gaming, when in many cases that same game is also present on pc.
I have no access to my desktop during most of the day, but i sure have a few breaks and a good internet speed.
I didn't buy a phone to play video games, but it turned out pretty darn useful , currently using steam remote play for turn based strategy/rpg games and adventure games.

Compatible phones include the Razer Phone 2, Huawei P30 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10+, and Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Guess I'm out, something like this would be neat for emulation though.

"The Junglecat will still pair with other Android phones (but not iOS) running Nougat and above via Bluetooth LE. It’ll still work the same, you just won’t be able to attach it to your phone with a case. The case itself is matte black plastic and feels sturdy. It’s not what I’d call attractive with the thick controller rails on the top and bottom, but it could definitely be worse."
