There are some curators like TekSyndicate and others that actually gave me a good insight about good games. But yeah, most of them are pretty lame in my opinion and as far as I know there is no way to remove them.

Lets hope steam add this option(disable curators) in the future.

I'd like to get rid of those myself, the curator stuff is mostly just self-promotion anyway.

Enhanced Steam lets you hide almost any part of the Store pages, try it. My Steam store page in my browser is just the carousel, the daily deals and the Recommended for you segment.

if you make your own group + curation, and curate a single game... as long as you follow 1 curator it will remove it.
