I have a friend who does some decent work, though I would recommend bribery. Even I make sure I have a Steam game for him when I want a new avatar. You will likely need more depending on what you want. I know he does commissions.

SomeThomas

He uses the same name on Steam.

You didn't mention how much you're willing to pay.
I at least assume you're willing to pay, because asking for free art and expecting it to be above stick-man quality is a bit silly. It's akin to "Hey you're pretty good at playing the piano, could you write me a free song?", or like a handful of guys who literally ask "Hey if you're good at programming I have an idea for a game, I'll help you make it, but you have to do all the programming, scripting, visual assets and audio work!". It's still something that takes time and effort, and people with any degree of skill typically get plenty of requests for such charity without even a thought of recompense. If you're going to ask for charity then your project should really warrant enough attention for the freebie, y'know?

If you're serious about this channel to the point of really wanting an image done of it, then you should pay for one, to ensure you get quality. If you're not serious enough to pay a small amount for a simple commissions artist from a free art index? Then your channel probably isn't serious enough to need its own quality decal. There are plenty of cheap artists around if you take a little while to look (to compare price vs style).

Sorry if this comes off a bit harsh but people really do take others efforts for granted.

That is why you contact someone you know does commissions and chat to them. You describe what you want, they tell you what they will charge, you decide if you care enough to pay that.

That all depends on what exactly you want, and at what quality. The popular free art indexes (such as DeviantArt) have many commission artists, and they typically display their prices up-front either on their page or in a seperate listing submission. They tell you how much something will cost, and what you'll be getting, and often with a sample of the type of result you'll be getting.

"Reasonable" all depends on your perception, really. The more you pay, the more quality you get (usually). Though there are plenty of unknown artists who undersell their services for various reasons, just as there are more popular artists that charge an insane amount for relatively little work in a manner akin to "paying for a brand name". Browse around, and look at their advertised prices. Also, before you buy, google their name and "buyer beware" to see if they have a history of poor behaviour. While you can get great quality art for next to nothing sometimes, non-career artists from the free art indexes are notorious for bad customer service, or outright taking your money, refusing to do the work for months, and then refusing a refund when they give you something you didn't want.

Always look at their terms of commissioning, and when approaching someone for art, don't be afraid to ask questions about the general process. Anyone who can't handle some honest, simple dialogue probably aren't worth trusting with a pay-up-front transaction (which is the norm). It's normal for an artist to show you a rough sketch so that you can request alterations and adjustments before they begin finalising the art, and then allow you to request minor alterations near to the piece being finished. Though, it varies between artists, so communication is vital.

Don't be afraid to look further afield, because sometimes the artists don't use things like DeviantArt, instead preferring a little home site. FurAffinity is similar, though the subject matter tends more towards furries, but a good number of them are happy to do non-furry stuff. Just make sure you check out their human artwork first. I can't say much for tumblr-oriented art, given I don't know jack shit about that clusterfuck of a hosting site. :V

maybe this?
(done really quick so nothing extraordinary)
If you would tell more in detail how it should look like, maybe I can try something else, depends how much effort that would be.

ahh It's fun to do stuff like this comrade and as long as it's nothing which would take a real amount of time it's fine for me doing this for free.
