Oh gosh, I'm so jealous. Enjoy Brighton, it's such a lovely spot with so much to offer! Not as nicely warm as Spain of course, but you'll get used to the weather.

I mean i would 100% recommend you go and visit Cambridge and Oxford if you get the chance, two absolutely gorgeous towns you do not want to miss. Going to concerts could also be a decent way to have a good time, also I'm sure you will meet some people in your course that you will be able to socialise with.

Congratulations on your scholarship! I don't really know Brighton, and everything I know is elsewhere. But Brighton is supposed to have a pretty good nightlife, and has some gorgeous areas like Royal Pavilion and the Pavilion Gardens. And if you fancy doing a day trip, Oxford and Cambridge are really nice to visit, as Nopzor suggested.

It's close to London, but if you haven't been before and if you like amusement parks, Thorpe Park is pretty cool :)
I'm not from England at all, but when I went to London I couldn't help but to go spend two days there ^^.

And here's a song I really like that happens to be called Brighton.
