Where did the item count go in the left menu of the giveaway overview page?

I might have missed an update message or something but where did the item count go in the left menu of the giveaway overview page?
I really liked the count so I could keep track of things, see how many new giveaways there are, how many from the wishlist etc.

They took it off for better performace of the site.

Due to an increase in traffic there were a few changes to the homepage to increase performance, such as the counts being removed for All, Group, Wishlist, New.

Maybe one could implement a counter that shows how many pages instead of individual ga's?

It would be better if they removed the Discussion numbers instead if giveaway numbers. I mean, who cares how many Suggestions threads there have been? But the giveaway one was useful.
Edit: Infact, I'll make a suggestion thread for it.
