Yea, I've read those threads before posting here.
For now I will use discord on smartphone, since I already use it on my daily routine.
Im just curious, because Steam Link has receive some updates since those posts. Hopefully somebody has a solution without using VirtualHere or other hardware.

Yesterday my Steam Link arrived. It's one of the most cutest piece of hardware that I ever seen.
Didn't had time to test the gameplay and stuff.
However, some "problems" that I've noticed:
1º No power button (but xbox controller have support for wake on lan)
2º usb ports side by side to power and network (it should be like a console, at the front. easier to arrange the setup)
3º No audio jack support. Unless I plug headphones to the TV or a usb headphone.
I can control steam link/desktop with no problem, using my xbox one controller, which is nice. I will not need any keyboard/mouse.
But I play online quite often, and I use discord.
I can chat using my smartphone, but It would be way better to just plug my headphones into steam link and chat from there.
I can buy a usb adaptor for it, but would it work?
What about plugging headphones into XBOXONE Controller? (I can't test it since i don't have W10)
So my question here is:
People that use Steam Link + XboxOne Controller, how do you chat??
Any suggestions?
