I will post specifically Value Exploitation Games here that haven't been fixed yet when I feel like it, and update the list.
I won't post simply games that are "Trash," "AI Slop" or "Shovelware." I'll only post games with a highly inflated price but still Full CV.

I thought about placing this in Off Topic, but really it belongs in Help as it will often require the attention of those with site privileges.
It seems this would be less annoying than creating a Support > Other ticket (which maybe even isn't allowed).

I will go through periodically and remove the games that have been fixed and are no longer Full CV.
If you would like to share some as well (or even a list that you already have), feel free to share and I will add them to this list after verifying.
If you feel adamantly that a game doesn't belong on this list, I'd also like to hear why, so feel free to post a comment.

Also included below is a link to the SG "Giveaways" page of each particular game, where you can judge for yourself whether or not a game seems to be an active CV-exploiting issue.

Yeah, I've known about it. I think it's OK for me to maintain a different list. If I feel like ending it I will.

For now, I'm going to leave off games that have had some attention given and are now Reduced CV. It's probably not a good thing that they still count for several $USD, but the incentive for abuse is much lower for these games now. Maybe in the future I'll change my mind, but that's what I'm doing for now.

Oh about those, when I open the ticket they were full value, seems they are reduced now, but since my ticket got no answer in several weeks I had no idea it was already marked

I wouldn't ignore reduced ones, just add a note.

even at reduced many of them are still significantly higher returns... think 40x+ CV returns on some of them where the safe good number is 10xish(90% off)

I think that because of AI the scammers will drown us in those "games".

You're probably right, but at least if some of them are actively being given away on SteamGifts it can be corrected even retroactively.

I think tickets might still be more efficient for the mods.
Also making this a witch hunt isnโ€™t really resolving any real underlying issues though.

To be honest I wasn't sure if that was even allowed, there is no category for it and the continual creation of new tickets does seem like it would be annoying. Also from what I hear from people who have tried it, it doesn't always seem to result in the expected outcome.

At least a maintained public list can catch appropriate attention. It doesn't seem likely to me that games on this list would remain there for a long time, and once they are removed from Full CV I'll regularly prune the list.

Not even sure what you mean by the last part. If you mean linking to pages that show giveaways for the applicable price exploit games, that seems absolutely necessary as justification for why it should be removed from Full CV.

I mean every day is a new game someone is trying to exploit.
Are you trying to maintain a blacklist of bad actors or what?
It seems pointless to worry about the games themselves if they get retroactively diminished CV, and the users as well, if users are going to be stripped of their CV in time anyway.

Sure, why not? I plan to start a group in the not-so-distant future and already have close to 50 devs/publishers whose games will be blacklisted. And if I find some users to personally blacklist along the way, what's wrong with that? I can't make my own informed choices? I didn't really create this thread to have a discussion about that, this is purely informational. Please consider it as only that.

And of course there are already people abusing this list to create 50p giveaways with 10 copies each to get quick CV while it's still at full CV. Such a disappointment.

It was the same many years ago with shady russian shop games that were """only""" in the 20p range but for 4 - 16 cents.
All that games got only set to reduced when i reported them and they are till today 15% cv (reduced).
I done each 24h the "daily" 20 tickets limit (yes, there is a limit and it counts for all categories together, so if you have after 20 tickets a needed reroll or other problem then you need to wait 24h) and reported only the games of the same 5 users that created each day more exploiting GAs as i were able to report.
Some lvl 8 - 10 accounts have only that level because of such GAs.

I gave up with that work after a few years because it exhausted the active mods and me for "nothing" because i forwarded the the tool (a tracker) to the mods and they to cg but he don't wrote them a script, tool or something else to lower the manual work load for the mods and me.

It was a fight against windmills.
It is, sadly, still the same.
I see a lot users that i know from years ago.
Sadly i am not allowed to name them, because obviously exploiters and abusers need to be protected and not stopped /s
The ones that exploit the cv system non stop since years, should be perma suspended -but i know it wil never happen-...
Only the price of the exploited games raised and that more users are pissed and report them.

I don't assume that this ones look for a sg discussion and create then GAs for this games. They all use, often/daily, the same stores with exploiting games (i can't name them).

This behaviour should not be tolerable by mods and suspensions would be welcomed. How greedy you must be to knowingly exploit it by creating giveaways for 50+ copies of this garbage that you bought for 2-3 dollars.

I tried multiple years that the daily massive exploiters/abusers get a punishment for it.
Partly because it wasn't possible to report each day all exploit stuff that they done (a 20 tickets each 24h limit exist... -which is ultra stupid from my point of view-).
I concentrated on the, maybe 50 users that done it daily but the answer was always "we can't do something, they don't break rules".

Later i only opened the profiles of the same 5 users daily and reported each day the 20 tickets if i had the time. Because each of their created GAs were a exploiting/abusing one (i often don't had enough ticket slots).
Month after month, after month. And they still had each day minimum the 15% of the game price (= bundled), which was mostly around 3cv for each game copy and they purchased them for 4 - 16 cents each key (if not bought in bulk).

I gave up years ago.

At that time when i checked each day the abused games and connected shady stores, around 250 - 300 accounts done the exploits regularly and 50 were the "daily hardcore abusers core". So, from my point of view, not a impossible high amount of accounts to hit them with a new "anti exploitation" rule.
