I hated the ham-fisted dialogue from that Asian woman in the finale. Like, seriously...... Gee I wonder what real-world event is that dialogue referencing......
But I read a comment somewhere that perfectly describes James Gunn. His humor has diminishing returns. First, it's funny, then it's just sort of there and finally, it's something you have to push through so you can enjoy the rest of the plot. Also, what was with music montages every 10 minutes? Are you trying to make music videos in the middle of the show or what?
With all that said, it was ok. Could have been way better, humor sometimes felt out of place and forced but there was a decent story underneath it all

Not sure how I feel about it. Seems like it's trying too hard to be funny or edgy. A lot of it is cringey which definitely is a James Gunn thing. I've only seen the first episode but it didn't suck me in. I do like Gunn's taste in music but good music can't save a bad movie or show. Not saying this is bad because I've only seen one ep. but it didn't look brilliant either.

i enjoyed it a lot. but im kinda pissed, they killed off the white dragon so fast. he should have been a more major threat, maybe even a future suicide squad member.

Not even gonna watch since I'm one of the few who really disliked Suicide Squad. James Gunn can go back to the MCU as far as I'm concerned since I don't give two cents about that.

So now that season 1 of Peacemaker is done and we wait for season 2, I'd like to ask how you all liked it. The ones that watched it that is.
Personally, I LOVED it. Normally I hate dancing intros, but this one I can watch over and over again. I LOVE that Gunn used Do You Wanna Taste It by WigWam from their 2010 album Non Stop Rock and Roll which I have owned for years.
The characters were all fun but the best was Vigilante. He felt like the DC version of Deadpool.

With Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, I feel James Gunn might be the redemption the DCEU needed.
