That's what I think too.. But some years ago I had a silvercrest wireless headset and the sound was great. Also I don't like how wires are fragile. My current headset has got its wire messed up inside and I have it since "only" two years. It's not bad because I used it a lot 'n stuff but still..

Only
I wish they'd last that long for me, I'd but $200+ headsets and enjoy them if that's how long they lasted.

Wireless doesn't sound terrible, but if you're doing anything but listening to pandora, it'll make you what beyond believe.
It's literally un-playable, not to mention it looks odd for videos and other things.
I'd go get yourself a MDR-V6, it's the only headset that was even remotely wearable(Not bull-raping your ears within minutes.) that lasted me over three months.
Sol Republics, literally 5days till the cord started cutting in and out.
And I used those MDR's hard and really abused them because of my living situation, as well as using them nearly 18hours a day, just a little less.
Some people have had them for years, some a good decade plus.
To make it better sounding, I got it off Amazon and that gives the chance it was a fake, seeing the time frame I bought it.

I've never used them, but if others are saying they break fast I'd have them done with in a couple days.

Hi guys,
My headset is dying and I wanted to buy a new, different one. I bought an Afterglow headset which was a piece of crap so I returned it.
So I'm looking for a-so- good USB headset for gaming, compatible 3D sound, at least 5.1 but for music aswell. The price must be under 100€.
I must insist on music as I want a REALLY good base sound (without any use of software even tough I use some) in which we can hear everything : treble pure as crystal, and basses that can be heard without they take the entire thing and shake the headset like a retarded monkey. The Afterglow was like that.. beast basses way too strong (or just badly made), but everything else was crushed down. The sound must be so that we can feel it alive.
I also want it comfy and with a good sound isolation without that it makes me feel like my ears are crushed, under pressure..
About the gaming part I simply want the sounds in FPS games to be clear and clearly localizable.
The mic isnt that much important but I want one with a decent sound.
There are a lot of headsets out there and it's so hard to decide, plus when I can't try them.. I might be demanding but I love music and want the best for me.
