Subterrain was in a monthly, so maaaaaybe that would place the minimum price around 2-3$ - still a good price if someone wants it. Well under how even bundle splits work.
edit: Hearts of Iron looks pretty good for that price, though I'm not into grand strategy, shouldn't throw away money :D

Yep, it was offered on some bundle splits at less than $1, but it was a blink-and-you-miss-it thing :/

Not all games in Monthly are equal, the price of Subterrain on G2A is around 0.3€ atm

Point was that even by the highest, fairest share it's pretty far from the 5$ minimum that is reported by ITAD. If everyone would be by current G2A prices ITAD would be useless.

As far as the community market goes, yes, retail/digital key reselling, but so far no controversy about them trying to rip off developers by coercing them into cooperation or shady stuffs like that.

that's good. the only "fairly untrustable" i've used was HRK. and still not forgot about "my buddies" at IG ;-)

It's a marketplace, but I've noticed most deals are from "big sellers" rather than random people like most deals on G2A, thus I suppose Gamivo does at least some checks. I purchased a few things there and had no issues so far.

The merchant "ForBuy" on Gamivo who is curently selling Subterrain has some 4k deals completed with 100% positive ratings. On G2A you can find the same game for less, but you'll have to buy it from people with less than a dozen ratings (top offer for Subterrain is €0.25 from "Visbisky", zero ratings).

Gamivo is interesting because they take 0% profit from the first month of a seller, so the seller can make some awesome prices.
Also, after that, they take 3% profit, against 11% on kinguin/g2a markets.
So, yeah, you can trust gamivo <3

Seems to be a bit more regulated, there's another thread with some feedback from SG users:

Of course, tread carefully and, as commonly said in Eve Online, never fly a ship you cannot replace.

We also get the old version of Interrplanetary https://store.steampowered.com/app/278910/Interplanetary/ which no longer available in steam store, along with the enhanced edition (new one). So it is 2 in 1.

Yep I intended "out of stock at cheap price", the current price (€11.50) is more or less the standard store price on any random sale.

Ah, I missed the earlier prices being much lower so I just assumed 11.42 was what you meant with higher but still good since it's whole 8 cents below historical low. :)

Why are other grey markets (G2A G2Play, Kinguin,...) hated, but Gamivo is respected and beloved by SG community?

Permalink

Discount coupons.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

G2A is hated because it's G2A.
I haven't seen much hate for Kinguin though.
And, yes, Gamivo has coupons! I wouldn't say respected and beloved, rather tolerated.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

So far only G2A tried to coerce developers into selling their games through their own store, then maybe they will do something about the mass of their stolen keys being sold.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Kinguin isn't hated at all.
A developer can sell games on kinguin, and if they do, other sellers can't sell on their plataform.
It happened to me already, I was selling For the king keys, and when developer started selling, my offer was denied.
Gamivo have a great system, with incredible low cost for sellers, so they can have better prices, and as they are still starting, there are lots of coupons.
This means really low price for buyers.

Picked up Death Road to Canada, thanks! The 3% code worked, though they added a $0.19 charge for customer protection I couldn’t see how to remove (if at all possible), and they charge 40 some cents to pay with PayPal. All in all, under $2 USD. Still a solid purchase. Got my key in about a minute.

Customer protection can be removed either before placing the product in the cart (remove the check under the game price) or from the checkout list.

Unfortunately, processing fees are unavoidable :/ I added a reminder to the OP.

Windows 10 Professional for $4.07 only after applying code... How really? Can someone explain...?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Probably an OEM key... :/ OEM key have several limitations (they can't be reused on another PC, might get disabled on upgrade of same PC, Microsoft offers no direct support etc.), but they are generally cheap and usually work.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Why would it get disabled on upgrade...?

Otherwise, I don't really care about the support and I am fine with using it on only one system.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The key should be linked to your motherboard on activation. If you change your motherboard in an upgrade, you can't reuse the key (it won't "recognize" your PC anymore). Some people managed to talk Microsoft into resetting it, but if you are buying a new motherboard, a new $4 Windows key shouldn't be an issue.
