Has anyone bought Steam gifts on Gamivo? Does that work flawlessly? I am not sure how they could offer me a Steam gift for Anno 1800 for that low of a price (49€) while still making a profit. Can't be from a cheap region, because I wouldn't be able to activate it then. So, how does it work? Do those get revoked after a while?

If I had to guess - firstly it's against the Steam TOS to purchase Steam Gifts (although they hardly care). Before the Steam gifting system changed, you were given a gift link from Steam directly giving you access to the game, so I guess it's the same now.

The question is how does this work. Where do these cheap gifts come from? I get how it works with keys. They are bought in cheaper regions, often from retail boxes. But gifts are automatically locked to your region. Usually n one can gift me a game from a cheap region.
