This looks interesting. I enjoyed my time in QGG (gave, won and played many good games) but the monthly giveaway requirement eventually got to be too much for me. (I think the ratio requirement also depressed entries by members.)

How is the group supposed to work without a ratio?
As is now, no one would need to give anything, ever.
The idea of a simplified group itself, by dropping the monthly requirement and the ridiculously overly difficult new member rule, is good.
But without either a regular GA or a ratio, there won't really be anything happening. Which also makes the giveaway restrictions completely pointless, when none need to be made.

Using the same logic, one might muse that dropping the monthly requirement alone, and only keeping the ratio requirement, would lead the exact same situation:
No one would create any giveaways, because there are no giveaways to enter, so no need for ratio.
And even if by any chance someone dares to give some low-quality game away, no one would enter giveaway, as it would force them to create a giveaway of their own.
So there won't be anything happening.
(Unless some benevolent soul starts giving away high-quality games, everyone would want to win, and enter the giveaways - which will create a chain reaction of people winning games and giving away games. Or people winning games and quitting the group, as their ratio becomes negative and they never planned to give any games in the first place)

Requested to join.
I really think there should be a rule to force GAs, I know myself to forget such things if there is no strict rules to make me give 😐

If there is no monthly requirement I' interested. To much real life at the moment don't want that pressure.
Will match the giveaways to the group requirements.
Sorry didn't read all comments and your replies.
Group sharing is allowed?
As Tristar mentioned, some ratio / limit would be good.
Or test 1-2 months how it goes :)

Maybe it's a good way to give some games that I don't throw in public GA and which wouldn't go in main group QGG group. Also what about blacklisting of groupees? Everyone is nice in the first couple of months... But I really don't want to give stuff to people with stats of -15 and -300$

Casual request sent.
BTW: Both links says compation rather than companion which you may want to correct :)

Hello,
I'm Mdk25, founder of Quality Games Giveaways (QGG) one of the oldest active group on SteamGifts.
I'm starting a new group, to let more people have a taste of quality giveaways (what QGG is all about).
This group will not have mandatory monthly giveaways, group ratio, or a "new member first giveaway" in order to join.
But instead, will have a more casual feel to it.
Everyone are welcome to give away games (with a minimal quality) or enter giveaways other people created.
Joining requirements:
• At least Level 3 on SteamGifts
• Clean slate at SteamRep (https://steamrep.com)
• Steam profile has to be public
• Multiple or unredeemed wins within the last year - are forbidden.
• Given away QGG-style games in the past
• A least a decent Won/Sent ratio on SteamGifts (i.e. no leachers).
• A decent No/Partial/Full value ratio between given games. Good ratio example. Bad ratio example. Borderline ratio example.
• If you're a former or current QGG member please let me know (It means you already passed the requirements, and it saves me time)
Giveaway rules:
Similarly to QGG, we will try to only have quality games in this group, so members are humbly requested to abide by the following rules when creating giveaways:
• Each giveaway should have 1,000+ reviews on Steam and 60%+ Steam rating OR 100+ reviews on Steam and 80%+ Steam rating. Games with 10,000+ reviews on Steam are allowed regardless of their steam rating.
• DLCs are valued according to base game reviews/score. i.e. If the base game is allowed according to rules, so are its DLCs.
• Everything else is allowed: shared giveaways, whitelist giveaways, whatever you want...

P.S.
To join: both apply to join the Steam group and leave a message here. (it makes my life easier)
P. P. S.
I recommend signing up to THIS THREAD to get notified in case of special announcements.
