Should I buy No Man's Sky?

It's fun. It was fun from the beginning for me because I went in with no expectations/hype to influence me. It was, for example, a much better purchase than something like Yooka-Laylee, which I had huge expectations for, only to see it fail miserably.

Each update has made it better, but even before this one, I had over 200 hours in it. It really all depends on what you like, watch a few videos, especially if you can find someone starting from the beginning of the game after this last update. I've been tempted to start over, just to experience it properly.

Bottom line, it's 60% off on Steam, might be less elsewhere, it's worth the money if you have the money to spend and the videos look interesting to you.

At 20$ if you plan on either following the story mode, or enjoying roaming and repetitively mining/crafting then yes, it's worth it.

Otherwise, I would wait for a finer version, honestly I hate dumb repetitive especially online games, but if they develop a single narrative mode that is worth the adventure I'd invest in it.

When it costs 5€.

Since you already liked it before it got all those new updates you should definetly consider buying it. If you are patient, wait for a discount on any site or try to trade it somewhere (if you're able to).

You liked it with it's flaws and it keeps getting better - I don't see anything that points against buying it. IF you and your wallet can afford it, that's for you to decide.

Its a cool game believe me you will like =)
