Guild Wars 2 questions

Sooooo, I have a GW2 key but should I register it?
I've never played guild wars or any game in the genre.
What would you do? Trade it?

P.S.:Any GW2 players here on SG?

Thanks in advance

I know what you mean... :P
I just want to understand if I will play it or if I'll get bored and have wasted the key.
