Story of Beyond Earth is that everyone is escaping the destruction brought on by Warlord Ghandi, the greatest mass murderer in the history of Humanity! Earth is in ashes and low on resources, consumed by atomic fire, thus a band of Resistance fighters construct starships and flee in a desperate attempt to escape the Atomic Mechanized Hordes of Ghandi by traveling to a distant Star System. Little do they know, Warlord Ghandi discovering their attempt of escape and not content with the countless billions he has already either enslaved or killed, constructs a fleet of warships to pursue these rebels.

Can the Resistance find a suitable planet in time? Will they be able to develop new technologies to defend themselves against the inevitable onslaught? Or will Ghandi finally achieve his goal to either exterminate or enslave the Human race?
