I need a hint. I put the 4th char in the 1st slot, etc, did not work? I also tried the logic of moving the 1st char to the 4th slot, etc, and ironically ended up with the exact same solution, which of course does not work. Also, why bold -02? I tried that meaning case, but did not work. Maybe I'm just over-thinking this, and it's a more simple solution?

Think of the bold one as a way to indicate a certain condition of the letters. In the previous train he had used Roman numerals of various sizes, hadn't he?

Am I the only with the problem that when I try a combination, then the same with different casing, my browser forces me on the link I've tried before, and I can't try the d*** combination with different casing?

You should know that no more than 1 try is necessary to solve the puzzle. There are multiple hints in the formula that gives you all the info needed to construct the link.
