Hey there pals, you know it's summer, and usually it's full of bordom. However, I have a tough school year next year that involves several programming languages and networking. Thus, I'd like anyone expereinced in this field(web developping) to guide me to some good courses and lessons that might allow me to somewhat master web languages such as PHP and JS, as well as minor "languages" like HTML and CSS.

P.S:Sorry, no gibs.

Step 1:
FUCK PHP. JavaScript is bad enough, and it's miles better than that organically grown, inconsistent mess that tries to pass for a language.

Step 2:
Learn basic HTML & CSS first. These are not "minor" aspects of web development. These are what control your page layouts and with that much of the look & feel of anything you do.

Step 3:
Learn JavaScript, so you can do all the fancy things apart from drawing your pages.

Well, if it was up to me, I'd only stick with HTML. But I have courses next year that I really need to pass. (C++, Java, JS, PHP, CSS, HTML, Advanced SQL, Networking, Linux administrating..etc)

I've already leartn HTML ages ago, I just need to refresh my mind for it again, and I'm already familiar with C, so C++ won't be that hard for me.

Agree with Learn basic HTML & CSS first, and maybe basic database (SQL).

Then, familiarize with PHP, JS, Jquery, Json, etc..

Framework is the last step.
All you need to create web without too much hassle is framework.

The only learning website I know is openclassrooms.com and it's not that good for me. I'll give this one a try, thanks.

Codecademy and CodinGame are unique in that they're free and interactive ways to learn programming. If I had to learn programming today, I'd definitely use them.

I've already tried CodinGame, it aims to IMPROVE your coding skills, not to teach you the coding from scratch.

Some schools have free access to Lynda courses for students, you could check that out as well.
