freaking weirdo: Hello sir i have good offer for you. I offer my Dragonclaw hook for your item. check my SS and offer me )
check my offer at screenshot removed

Wert568: what is a dragocant you post the image here?

so when I try to click the link instead of saving as an image it saves as a screensaver file. I didn't open it and I just went back to shooting some combines. when I came back to my pc in the morning after my virus scanner(Malwarebytes) did its rounds, it detected said screensaver file as a virus. Has anything like this happened to you guys?

Yeah, that's the png steam-account-hijacking virus/scam that have been going around lately. i'd change my password, just in case, and like everyone else here is saying, remove the link from your post, so others don't click it accidentally.

It's getting very common lately.

Never click any links from your friends (especially strangers) if you don't know what it is.

If it ever starts to download .bat, .scr file then it's most likely a virus.

Also please remove the link to the image, other people might click it and accidentally get the virus.

Remove the link, and remove the username, they're both against the rules here

Yep, it's happened to me a few times. It's a steam hijacker virus, as usual, don't click strange links from people you don't know.
