Teorically I'm with you (because when I've bought the Bethesda Pack I already expected an announce of reimbursement the day after, and for me there would have been not a single problem), but if a shop announce a compensation I expect it (in this specific case I expect nothing or at best a coupon or similar because my trust in Gamersgate is very low)

Gamersgate promised new, better, discounts and coupons on Twitter and elsewhere following the IGN discount revocation too. They said not having to give out that 15% would allow them to offer more coupons and deals. This never happened either. In fact, they had given a few coupons out on Twitter while the IGN discount was still active, and since have not. Makes sense?
They have given no meaningful updates on the situation since that initial email, and in fact have rather curtly refused to discuss the situation with individuals. I am rather confident the "compensation" was never a serious offer, but was only meant to forestall some public ire, especially during the holiday season.
