I don't enter anything that I'm not genuinely interested in owning. My point total rarely dips below 250 any more.

If you have too many points, enter for giveaways ending in 3-4 weeks too.. :P

I often have 300p when I wake up but other than that I spend them on pretty much anything I feel I will play at some point.

Same here. I think SG was more fun when the points were generating a lot slower. Back then It had a sort of tactical aspect. You couldn't just enter every giveaway, otherwise you were just wasting your points, but now you can click on everything and you're still back at 300 in a short while.

There are a shitton of giveaways that are public only or have below 30.01 cv. I don't enter those, so I turn out to be able to enter any other GA I want and have tons of points for puzzles left.

It's not laziness I blame GA creators for making dem accessible to bundle givers and leechers :P

Here, here, but I also mostly don't want those games and have already a Backlog that's too big and I´'m really working "hard" to decrease the number of unplayed games ^^ (I completed like 5 games or so this month and I have 3 upcoming exams in the next 7 days xD)
