I see people making GA's for games that I've never seen in a bundle (GTA for example) and so, what I'm wondering is, how do you get those keys?
G2A? Other websites that give Steam keys when you buy there? Or is there a way to get keys when buying from Steam?

Just wondering so I know if I want to do giveaways for AAA games or something sometime. :>

Can move thread if it's in the wrong section.

So are you wondering if this website is just for bundle dumps?

I mean, I make bundle giveaways.

But I also contribute in a way that none other can.....

Which is with CoD games - http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/BzzSz/call-of-duty-black-ops-iii

Well technically that could be what I'm wondering about, except when devs make GA's. xP
Basically I just wonder how people get keys for games that aren't in bundles, if there's a way to get the key instead when buying from Steam or if they use other websites. xP

I do NOT use sites such as G2A,. etc. I get my games from sellers that I can trust, such as either Steam directly or from ..... yea

I do not condemn the sites such as G2A, as they are legit, it is the market they allow with re-sellers that can be trivial.

As far as DEVs making giveaways, they have a limited amount of keys that are given to them from Steam to use for their own use.
If they choose to use them in a giveaway, they are legit, as far as the DEV is legit.

I'm a little wary using G2A for games that cost more than $5. xD
And I wouldn't want to use G2A for GA's anyway, as the key could be wrong.

Thanks for replies. :>

Ah thanks, will keep those websites in mind next time I wanna make some GA's. xP

Been sticking to bundled games because I didn't know how people got keys for anything else, and didn't feel like asking at first. xD

Any game that you can select from the list is ok. That means big games too.

You can use the indiegala store, greenmangaming store, humblebundle store
All provide keys for games that are not bundled as well...
No way that I'm aware of to buy keys from Steam directly.

Some people buy from the Steam store at full price. You can buy it the game as a Steam gift (and save it in your inventory), then email the winner of your giveaway the gift when it ends.

But that doesn't provide a key. That just emails them a GIFT to their inventory. Just FYI. :)

I was actually wondering about the same thing a couple of days ago, I was wondering why there's a place Steam's client to activate keys but you can't buy games as keys from Steam's store, that seemed kind of silly...
