Steam game removal thread | Last update 6/4 -

I sometimes see in my timeline a spike of people buying a certain game, to find they are getting removed, and i am a collector too in that aspect, so i thought why not create a special thread for it, so other people can know too?
This thread is only going to be about agames facing direct pending deletion on concrete information, not speculations on possible licensing stuff, there are other places for that. By all means if you find something with concrete info about a deletion, let me know so i can add it.

Pending deletion (Old): I removed all of these that were pending for months, some even from february, even some in the new section should have been long gone, like from the developer ILLUSION. Seems not everyone takes their closing serious.

it says pc as well in the trailer so maybe steam but it mentions it's more of a subscription service rather than buying each song as a dlc - but anyway didn't Ubisoft declare they hate Steam for some reason?

To be fair, it was a legacy game anyway, superseded by Rocksmith 2014, which is still available.

True, but so are F2012-F2020 f.e, it's for collectors.

Though i believe from what i read the DLC would still work, i dunno if it that applied to 2014 or the upcoming new one, if that comes to steam.

they said licensing issues. they're the publisher and developer though, so it's weird. doubt it's gonna affect all 3 billion of their hogs though.

Sorry to reply to this old reply, but in case anyone comes across this, it's because of music used in the games and there was licensing issues about it. So they opted to remove them and said this impacts no other games, just this series.

thanks for the info. they could've replaced the music with some license-free stuff, though it's weird that they'd pay for anything like this for a hidden object game.

That's too bad. I was following it but didn't notice the announcement. I was planning to wait for it to be fleshed out some more before deciding whether to buy, but looks like that's not going to happen. Would you say it's worth buying in its current state?

I bought it on day 1, one of my favorite devs, but haven't played it yet, was also waiting for the full version. now that it's not getting more updates for sure, I'm gonna try it, but it's already removed from sale.

It seems they are focusing on games for the EA Play service now. F1 2019 servers are going to be shutdown on the 18th and more than likely they'll be delisting that as well when this occurs. Next year around this time they'll probably do the same for F1 2020.
