Don't Starve and multiplayer (Don't Starve Together)

Hi :)

Do someone know if my friend would be able to play the multiplayer expansion of Don't Starve (Don't Starve together / coming late august) with me if I've got the DLC (Reign of Giants) but not him?

He has the basic version of Don't Starve, and I just purchased the complete pack with the DLC :/

Also, the complete pack (Don't Stave + DLC) is 60% off, and the 2 pack is also 60%, do someone know if it has a chance to be 75% or more? :)

I am afraid I just made a mistake purchasing it so soon and without knowing if it will work or not, just checked the official website but no info about it... :(

Can't speak from experience, obviously, but I'd guess it should work, since it's a DLC and not some sort of compatibility pack. Maybe you can even use the new characters that are added in the DLC but I don't think it hinders you in any way for playing the MP of the main game together.

yes I hope it will work too... the DLC add new seasons if I remember well, so I was wondering if my friend could join the party if he can't access the new season...
well maybe he will have to create the game or something like that ^^

u mey turn on/off Dlc and after creating game it ask to play with dlc or without

then dont wory u will play

If it doesn't work you can always disable the dlc in steam anyway
