So, a block function. That's pretty useful. It's always fun to block people and imagine how, to this day, they might still be yelling at that brick wall. coughyoutubecommentscough

:(
Just remember before you do this guys, most of my threads have ga's, so it might not be in your best interest to block me. Although consider the quality of them, I'm not sure that's a good deterrent.

What, you mean there are giveaways from other sources?!

Cool idea, but I prefer seeing, knowing, hearing and witnessing everything that happens on the forum.
Every. Single. Thing.

Wohoo! Was searching for this one for a couple of months now and here it is finally! :D
Thank you very much!
Edit: Doesn't seem to work. I write the name like this "Whatever", "whaTEVER1" but it doesn't accept it. I am pretty sure i have written correctly the name

It's kind of funny to me how a bunch of people on my blacklist for being forum jerks are happy about this script.
The irony is strong. :)
Thanks for this, Sighery!

So, Sighery, what am I doing wrong?
I've copy pasted the usernames from the SG page and they're not being hidden. It should be noted that I'm running SG++ and a whitelist mod, so these people are blacklisted and tagged. Could that have anything to do with it?

Oh, so that's why I have so little entries in my giveaways...

I think personally I wouldn't use the full functionality of it.
I'd be interested in hiding comments from users and hiding GAs of people I've blacklisted.
But it seems like it's an interesting script and could be useful to some :)

Same concept, just like this one. When browsing Steam game forums or general steam community forum with your browser, you can mark users and make it so their forum posts are no long visible.
It might be asking too much, but since Steam users can change their username at will, it would probably be a more effective script if it were able to check their profile id64 or whatever. Maybe that would take way too long to load each thread page though.

The http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/ is what is used now.
the old http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/ are basically dead
