Congratulations of your graduation! I have a bit of an off-topic question but why do people punish others for saying thank you in comments. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone or I'm missing something.

Hi again, glad to see you on the discussions! To answer, it's personal preference. I personally would never blacklist someone for saying it, but here are some reasons others might give for doing so:
-Generic "Thank You" messages are often about as creative as automated giveaway entry scripts (bots) get. Most people don't like bots, and don't like the generic messages associated with them.
-When you create hundreds of giveaways and receive a couple pages (say 2 pages) of "Thanks", that's several thousand messages all saying the same couple words with slight variations. If you're going to go through thousands of messages, it's much more interesting if they're a little less generic.

I also changed the rules a bit as only if you simply type "thanks" or "thank you", it will lead to blacklist.

I understand now; I just didn't when I first got to SG. There is also people who bot responses on giveaways, so it's nice to see a variety of things other then the generic thanks. Originally, I just thought people hated others thanking them, but that's not really the case. It's just the pages of the same thing that bothers people. Anyway congrats on your business administration degree. Do you have any idea what you want to do with it for work?
