The highest path isn't always the shortest, it seems. Took me 4 jumps with the method, 2 jumps when I use the third highest friend.

Nice idea to ask for this during steam prime time (saturday evening, when steam hardly works at all Kappa).

However, that isn't surprising. Actually it should work for any active steam user since the chain never stops (high lvl people never have an empty friend list, so eventually you're gonna get to a friend list containing person x).

I Don't care anymore for anything steam releated exept the start game button.
Removed everything from friends to groups and slowly took my own road.
I dont need attention i dont want one, i have a public profile just for the steamgifts sync.

Hi,
Found it on reddit and seems like a fun fact to reshare. Since PalmDesert is known as the highest level Steam gamer known with a lv6666 W'14, lv7777 S'15 and lv3333 S'14 badges, it's been proven that by always clicking on the highest level person on your friend list repeatedly (choosing the 'highest level friend' of your highest level friend and so on) you will eventually reach PalmDesert.
If you in any jump stumble upon a private profile, skip to next open highest level. Also as kukeemon suggested trying your other friends, you may find a shorter path if you have the time.Try this and share your results here if you like :)
