Well, a friend told me about 2 years ago (we used to play Ragnarok Online together and some of de staff from ragnarok online made this one) they anounced the international closed beta on september-november of last year, i wanted to sign for it using steam (you could via facebook, google+ or steam), but they had some problems with it , i waited (for too long) but they finally removed the steam option, so i couldnt play on the beta... now im waiting for the international open beta (i hope that in febraury T.T, crossing fingers)... they opened the open beta in korea, but you need a korean mobile phone number in order to play there :p

That's what I've been waiting for as well, for long time now. I love the artstyle and the fact that its got 80 classes and none of them gender-locked. However I'm not hyped about it anymore after reading what they're doing with korean version. The game will be either highly pay2win or just very inconvenient for F2P-players.

I hope the western release will have different approach with its F2P model than the one Korean has, otherwise I probably wont even bothering downloading the game, no matter how awesome it looks.

Yup, i dislike a lot the non trade shit that they did, also weird move about the guilds (only 1 class can make guilds o.o) let's hope that they dont do that in the international.... maybe they get the feedback of the users (i hope)

Hmm every MMO these days is either highly P2W or with monthly fees unfortunately :( and it's what makes the cash, so if it's already implemented don't expect it to suddenly go away with a Western release, people are super cash cows here as well and the companies definitely won't let that profit go to waste. They always find some people to get their money from. Even MMOs that start out on reasonable terms usually develop P2W syndrome sooner or later when they discover how beneficial it is for them...

Monthly fees I'll pay up anytime.
They gotta get their money somewhere, and not every game can sustain itself on cosmetics.

Agreed, monthly fees are definitely preferable, since you avoid the P2W and on average it's cheaper than a lot of casual microtransactions (for the average user at least). Unfortunately this is also why more and more companies are switching from monthly fees to free but P2W options so they can increase profits at the cost of game balance.
Then again I guess any MMO will be vulnerable to P2W in one way or another since there will always exist illegal trading of in-game goods and services for real money (depending on the popularity of the game) that is impossible to monitor completely. So the very nature of a MMO prevents it from being perfectly fair to its players which is a bit sad but just something you have to accept if you choose to play one, I guess :(

If they could just stick to monthly fees and cosmetics on the side that you can buy, that way they'd get money from those too lol.

Best payment model I've seen for an MMO so far is RIFT's current one.

i dont play many, for the moment im trying to get the ones i really want, like grisaia, nekopara, sakura spirit, and and oretty much everything that involves anime xD i just dont plan to play "shoujo" ones (where the girl is the main character and many boys around )

Grisaia is great, but the Steam version has cut some parts of it.

No worries! Shoujo is for girls anyways (unless you're a girl)!

I recommend Fault Milestone One (on steam), great story line, no romance or anything (so aimed at everyone). It is where my username comes from too - one of my favourites :) There's also part two released to the game, which gets even better.

I've been meaning to get Clannad, I heard so many great things about it, but I can't really afford to buy it at the moment :(

i prefer the ones with romance tho!

Just buy some real VN's instead of spending money on Sakura games.

If My Heart Had Wings (Absolute best VN I've played for a LOOOONG time, I've currently clocked 100 hours on it, though I did fall asleep once, and it's with 18+ content)
A Kiss For the Petal (Yep, I'm biased, been in love with this series for 6+ years)
Strawberry Vinegar (Any VN made by ebi-hime to be honest, she and the people who help her make some great VN's for sure)
Princess Evangile
Clannad (Though I don't like it, but a lot of people do, partly why I won't buy it is because of the Anime which I dropped after a spoiler)

Wel, there is 100% Orange Juice, has multiplayer, but not a mmorpg, it's more a bord game
As for visual novels, Higurashi (http://store.steampowered.com/app/310360) is on steam, and it even has a sequel. Is a pretty good horror story, quite intriguing. It also has an anime adaption(but it rushes the story a bit)

Looking for animestyled games there would be Tera (I believe) and Tree of Savior. Both are MMO anime style games there is also Soul Worker (I believe that is the name) that is being developed if you want to check it out

Tera on Steam
Tree of Savior on Steam
Soul Worker

All of them are Anime (or anime theme since idk if Tera counts) MMO games that I haven't played, but look really interesting.

OH I forgot two that are on Steam.

Elsword and . . . I forgot the name of the other one (Grand Chase I believe) but it's by the same group behind Elsword.

I still need to beat the damn game.
