Just look at your profile and you will see that some games have 0 points. It's a bug and it will be resolved on it's own in few hours... or days xD

games that go on sale well have lower point value for your level even though it is a past giveaway, so dropping a level is common if you are like level 6.1 dropping to like 5.99 and so have patience

That's a totally different thing. It's a base price reduce and there is nothing SG can do about this (Sure, it might not be fair but that's how it works). However in his comment he clearly (at least from my point of view) talks about a sale

Only shitty if you are more concerned with your level then what the site is about.Level is suppose to be a way to show you how much you have given not so much about what GA's it allows you to enter,I think those who have issue with it are ones that are more worried about not entering higher level GA's.
Though everyone is free to feel how the want and that is how i feel about it,i do not worry about my level i give because i want to,not because i raise my level it just a nice perk to go along with it.
Now the 0 CV thing does suck but you have to take the good with the bad since it goes off Steam DB any mistakes on there end will show up on this site,so it not like SG has control over that.

I got down to 3.00 (it was 3.04 yesterday and 3.14 a week ago) but it was expected. I'm actually surprised that Penny Arcade's 3 & 4 bundle that I've given away 2 times counts at full value even through both games have been bundled according to Enhanced Steam (but 4 doesn't seem to be in the bundle list here so I guess once it's added my cv will go down even more)

It's happening again, this time on Ghost Master for me. I think a word of advice would be if you're within about .15 of a level change, don't enter anything in the higher level right now. Blacklist-happy folks may hit you for the lost level when it reality it's SGs fault this time, as has happened about a dozen times with me since this silliness started.

It's not the Steam API, it's SteamGifts fault because they don't know how to validly parse JSON files.
