FTL: Faster Than Light Advanced Edition to be released tomorrow (April 3rd) - Edit: Released!

And what better way to celebrate than by giving away a copy of the game!

Anyone else excited for Advanced Edition? I haven't checked on much of what new has been added, but I know there is a new Hard difficulty mode which should be fun!

Edit 1: Since some people have been asking, Advanced Edition is supposed to be an update for FTL, not DLC.

Edit 2: One of the devs is currently talking to a streamer who is playing the Advanced Edition at this link.
He mentioned the update should be released sometime tomorrow morning PST.

Edit 3: That preview stream is over but the video of it is here for anyone who wants to see some of the new stuff in action. Giveaway ends April 3rd at 10pm GMT.

Edit 4: Advanced Edition has been released!

This. I was able to get my cousins to stop pirating indie games since I was able to get them to see the that they're pretty much stealing from 10 people. They stopped when I showed them they can get bundled indie games off steamtrades for a couple of cards. Sadly they still pirate AAA titles since they say "If it isn't multiplayer and it's AAA then it's not worth buying". I just wait until it goes down to like $5 or something like that instead.

same here. $5-$10 is well worth for most AAA titles. except;
if they insist to sell the game at a ridiculous price,
if the game is region locked and doesn't show up on store in my country,
if they don't give a damn about people who want bugs get fixed.
if they don't give a damn about players like ^those situations, i don't give a damn about paying them either.

HNNNNNNG, I've shelved the game for a couple months in anticipation of this update. I'm so psyched. Manning life support and teleporters? New systems? I'm not crazy about the new race but I'm still friggin' pumped.

This is an amazing game.
