What a legend.
One of my favorite games from childhood was Max Payne 2. In recent times I was glad to be treated to his role as the 'Director' in Control!
He always had that charisma, the dulcent tones and the world-weariness in his voice. Made you to (as you said) feel and focus on his words.
Remedy and us players will miss him. RIP

Really sad. Max Payne was one of those games that kept me playing because of that powerful voice and the narration style.
I hope Rockstar give him some sort of tribute with the remake.
