7 Years, over 5000 entered, won 6 times. 5 of the 6 games are worth less than 2 bucks then and worth less than .99 today.

I see your point but most public GAs get over a thousand entries, and even large groups get a lot of GAs that barely reach 150 entries so the odds get much higher in groups.
I know mathematically, it makes only a tiny difference but from experience, about 90% of my wins come from groups, and not even the small closed up ones.

Compared to guaranteed win - yes. But relatively it's still quite a lot! 1000 entry public vs 125 entry group - 8 times the chance, which is very close to your 90% experience. Then add habits like if you buy bundles or visit group buys, you likely have the public giveaways' games, while whitelits, group promotions and events still tend to give more unbundled or new games :)

Heh yep and then there's the X factor like... I never ever won a single giveaway I entered after solving a puzzle or a Jigidi and I've solved a lot of those and some had ridiculous odds (like less than 5 entries)

you'll making GA-s to gain levels. Some (group) GA-s requie higher level to participate, and in those GA-s are much higher chance to win

900 entries to 1 win is just about exactly what I expect.
Most giveaways I enter are under 1000 entries, and most wishlist games 1 enter for have several thousand entries.
Although I have entered for a lot of bulk giveaways, so my ratio is rather decent. I really need to start some giveaways and share back with the community.

5 years (almost 6 - cake day in May :) ) 61585 GAs entered, and won 155 games. approx every 400th entering is a winning... 0.0025% :D
Also some advices: give away some games, so you will level up, higher GAs, less participants. ;)
and WL GAs have also higher chance :)

Yeah i am lucky but 80% i won from private GA groups,,,
