Hi everyone!

I just saw this thread and it gave me the desire to do the same, so I'm here to ask everyone what are the worst Steam groups out there? The most spammer? The scumiest bulls**t scam CSGO group? The most hated GL crap boosting? Let it all out! And probably I'll be left with less than 50 groups.

(Also, I just made a badge so I have a 75% discount coupon for "The First Spark" which I don't intend to use. First come, first served.)

So...will you delete your groups?

I'm gonna clean all my groups!
Hell no!...I need them to reach the 6000 games library of my dreams!
I'm going to enter all these groups just cause no one loves me!... :(
Meh...don't really care...
Just gonna keep the potatoes groups! ;)

Every Group related to the Original network.

And probably 30 other groups with the exact same members but this is getting tiresome. Basically if SalzStange is running the group stay the hell away from it.

Well, they are the pioneers of blackmailing devs for free keys :D There might be many other, newer groups that are just as bad but they invented that shit.

A thorough TL:DR would probably take several hours so just see for yourself.
Original Group Network Controversy Thread

Some of the highlights are blackmailing devs for free keys, harassing Admins of other smaller groups and staff from his own groups and just being a terrible human being in general.

I never thought I would actually add anyone to my blacklist... until today. I don't even want to accidentally wander into any public giveaway of his.

I never thought I would actually add anyone to my blacklist

Spend enough time on this site and it's bound to happen at some point :D I've seen levels of rudeness or inconsiderate behaviour on this site you will most likely never witness in real life.

But there's also enough awesome people to still make me always come back :)

It feels so unreal that there are people are actually so... malicious/delusional... when most of the time I just meet nice people, especially in the comments.

I get the existence of the occasional rule breaker, but this level of badness... ._____.

Thank you for linking this. Read only a little bit, promptly left the groups, blocked communication and blacklisted AngryErpel.

Rex, Lit, Mamilos (which banned me for translating their group name to english "Nipples"), all groups that use simple.gg or similar websites to give away overstocked keys of Heaven game series, the list goes on...

Only because the other giveaway groups were banned from Gleam.

I probably got to the point im spamming this but...
THE WORLD IS A VAMPIRE, SENT TO DRAIN
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-r-V0uK4u0
It matches every thread i've been posting this to be honest....
(archi's farm thread = The world is a vampire, sent to BUMP every Thread
reddit FreeGamesOnSteam = The world is a vampire, sent to drain...
in one of the giveaways i created...)
damn... despite all my rage im still just ready to spam...

Went too far with this... yah... there's REX's scummy groups that are so many, im not gonna list any. (around 20 out of which 11 "pretend" to be associated with REX... yah.. bullcrap)

CLEAN YOUR GROUPS! SAY NO TO SCUMMY SPAMMING GROUPS! THEY'RE GONNA KEEP ON GROWING FROM NOTHING AND EVENTUALLY RULE THE WHOLE WORLD! SAY NO! DONT LET YOUR DREAMS BE MEMES!

I've been cleaning out my groups regularly so I don't do it any further hopefully, but groups related to CS:GO skin gambling are the worst.

There's a few groups out there for people who are happy to show off the fact that they're cheaters or brag about how many VAC bans they have, it's always gotten to me a little. That kind of mentality is just so absurd. As someone who's always been a massively competitive player, getting to the top of the ladder in a game with months of practice only to face multiple cheaters who got there effortlessly has ruined so many games for me. I used to be in the top 0.5% in WoW arena back before kickbotters got their banwave and were pretty much everywhere and I ended up quitting the game for months, just wasn't fun anymore. Even just trying to think about how someone could be proud of themselves for getting anywhere using that kind of bullshit has me gritting my teeth.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Using cheats to win any kind of game just takes out the fun from everything. If a person is a good player that's nice but when you're not that good, just try to improve and keep playing while you have fun. The only way I see someone could be proud of cheating is if that person had made the bot and was proud of his/her programming skills, but that's not the case for 99% of the cheaters, and even then, they shouldn't share it and profit with it.

Hah, yeah that's true. I can see the pleasure in getting to witness your own work finally functioning at first hand, but all these kids who download the tools or scripts online and have the ignorance to call themselves "hackers" because it makes them feel cooler than the cheaters they actually are when they don't understand the first thing about how any of it works is just laughable.

The first time I ever used cheats was to see if I could convince the server (someone else was hosting) that I was invincible.
Turns out it was a lot easier than I thought possible.
I used TSearch to make myself invincible in a Tribes game, but you had to redo the search every time a new match started.
It was an interesting experiment because it showed me that the server didn't trust the client values but it sent out information that could be modified.

I'm also directly responsible for "Black" Items in Diablo II Open Battle.Net
I was tired of idiots running around in White Items thinking they were invincible, so I made new ones that let me kill the morons by activating a specific buffer overflow in damage calculation.

I used to make codes back when CMGSCCC stood for something other than "I'm Codemaster, suck my dick and like it"
GameShark hacking demos was especially interesting as there were items from the full game in them that normally you wouldn't see.

I was also the first person to reverse engineer the Torchlight Item format for save files. Available here

A lot of my "cheating" is just to see what I can reverse engineer or just because I can. It uses more of my intellect in making cheats than simply playing a game.
