It can be a single pixel, or a gajllion pixels, depends on how you interpret it.

If you'd be an aspiring streamer that has footage and concepts to pitch that are promising then an aspiring artist could make some art in exchange for mentioning him on your channel, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut you have nothing. Christmas is around the corner, maybe ask Santa for some pixel junk? :)

Go to Deviantart and search for pixel art. if you see something you like then contact the artist. You can get prints for next to nothing and maybe if you're really lucky some artist may give you the nod to user their work for free.

You asked people to do a job for you for literally nothing in return. For my pic I had two choices. Do it yourself and get a crappy version for free, or pay someone skilled to do it. I chose to do it for free. Now you make your decision. People aren't gonna work for free.

It's no unneeded rudeness, neither is it low. It's the truth even if it might sound harsh to you, because you expected people to line up to do it for you. Especially when you ask for pixel art which already demands a pretty high quality and amount of time to put into considering it should be good, but you wouldn't be satisfied with some rubbish, would you? You probably end up making money off of ads or maybe even a 1$ donation and other people are supposed to design your channel's appereance? As JoaoWho said: That's not how life works!

+1. If I wasn't so backed up with ART I WAS DOING FOR FREE FOR SOMEONE'S CROWDFUNDING, I'd definitely consider helping you out. Alas, I have a backlog right now and will be busy all weekend.

A giveaway site is actually the last place to ask for free stuff. Why? Because there are already a lot of threads saying stuff like "hey, it's my birthday, gift me something, pls!" or "I just registered, feel free to gift a game if you feel generous" etc. Lot of times. It gets annoying fast and people naturally react negatively when anything similar happens. Personally, I'm a bit confused about why you are even looking for artists here, instead of an art forum.

Artists' community has been fighting working for free/recognition for a while as it makes it harder for most of us to get paid for our work at all. I'd rather suggest looking for someone who takes some really cheap commission - there are many people willing to create for next to nothing on both deviantart and tumblr (there are probably even more talented people on pixiv, but tey're mostly Japanese, so there may a language problem)
