I used to gather all the rare cards I could and have a booklet of shinies gathering dust but stopped right before synchro summons came about once I discovered the DS games, in which you can get all* the cards at no additional monetary cost after an one-time upfront payment. Now I just grab the husbando and waifu cards.

Nice. I could never beat my friend because he had The Winged Dragon of Ra, Obelisk the Tormentor and Slifer the Sky Dragon. He bought Ra Dragon for ~13€ and I thought it was insane. He sold Slifer because he didn't know it's a good card :)

I know that there are normal cards, spell cards and trap cards but I remember that I have one Magic Card. It was some eye in the sky. I googled magic cards but yugioh wiki only gave me spell cards.
