Heh I know what you mean. When cg announced Fanatical was giving 1000 coupons away out of the goodness of their heart, I knew for sure a mystery bundle was following.

Scratch or make it worse? If you scratch an itch too much, you risk an inflammation.
Seriously though, just check your order history on Fanatical, add the total you spent on these and look at the current price of any nice recent game on your wishlist you could play instead.

Giving away cool things also gives the nice feel-good brain juice, it seems. I should probably cut back quite a bit though.. I think this last week I've spent nearly $100 on bundles from Fanatical - mostly just to give away.
A lot of games I'm interested in, I've already bought, or aren't out yet.
Perhaps I'll hand out what keys I've got left and see where that takes me before I should be buying any more bundles.. but that's easier said than done, for sure.

There is nothing wrong with generosity and feeling good for it. It's really cool. Just as long as it doesn't come at the cost of your own comfort and you can budget it and stay within your budget.
My problem with the mystery model in general is that it promotes and triggers gambling addiction in such a sneaky way that people don't really realize it until it gets out of hand.

The only Mystery bundle worth buying (not for me though, I already have too many games) was in my opinion the Winter one (from December 2023), because of the unique account drops that they advertised. Useful especially if you previously bought at least one Mystery bundle, since the new purchases would give you games you didn't get yet.
But now it's back to the usual: leftovers and more leftovers.
