The Humble Jumbo Bundle 2

I can't decide if I want to go for the minimum for Van Helsing and Deadlight or if I want to go for the average for Terraria. I'm thinking I'll wait a week to see what they add.

You should buy the minimum now, so you lock the BTA price, next week if the games added are worthy you increase your payment to the BTA price at the moment you bought it, not the BTA next week that is usually higher.

Because I'm not a big fan of indie games. I find the majority of them to be boring and lazy. I made the mistake of buying Starbound earlier this year. I liked the concept but kinda hated the game itself. Then I found out SB is pretty much a subpar Terraria clone. I tend to be something of a cheapskate when it comes to games I'm unsure of. Terreria didn't have a good sale during the abomination Valve liked to call their Summer sale. So I don't have the game yet.

Unfortunately no. Not a single game got anything higher than 75% off during the Summer Sale. Actually I take that back, I think a few got 80%, Terraria was not one of them.

Dunno where you got your information from, but there were quite a few that got 90% sales, as for Terraria, I was wrong, it was actually on sale for 80% off, or $2.

if you have any interest in Age of Empires and don't own it yet, then probably yes. From a few die-hard fans I've spoken to, 2 is the best of the series, and the HD remake is just that - sound and graphics redone in HD but gameplay remains the same as it was and still holds up well today.
It's one of those cases where at worst case scenario you can still get a decent discount + bonus games.

Got Terraria and Deadlight already, but everything else is a steal at that price. I think the AoE complete might be the first thing to make me buy the $15 tier, too.

Plain Fap Fap. I've been waiting for a cheap King of Fighters. Gonna get BTA. Already have Terraria, Galactic Civ and Crusader Kings are not for me. Gonna try Van Helsing. Deadlight looks nice

As for 15 USD tier - meh. Already have AoE + The Forgotten and AoE 3 is kinda crappy

I liked to say "Humble Repeat Jumbo No buy Bundle", but it's actually very nice, even average. If you find BTA interesting then buy the bundle for 1$ before BTA price increases too much, so you can decide if paying rest current average when bonuses come or not instead of paying 7-8$ for future average, buying it now will ensure your average in "increase payment" will remain the one that was when you bought the bundle and not the one that is in that time, if you don't have 1$, even 1 cent is enough to ensure it.

probably, on your bundlepage you can increase payment to unlock BTA and it takes the price from the time you bought it. (I've done this myself before by buying 1$ tier and later increased to BTA)

Awesome! :D I knew you could increase the payment afterwards, but I thought you had to pay the current value for BTA.
But then, if I buy the $1 tier and the BTA decreases, like it happened today (except that I bought the BTA right away), will it keep the previous BTA value anyway if I decide to upgrade my purchase later?

yes always the amount of the time when you purchased the bundle wether it increases or decreases.
Though in most cases it is wisely to buy in on the 1$ tier early when the BTA is on its lowest peak and then wait for the bonus games added to decide wether to increase payment or not.
I did this today when BTA was 4,81$, so In a week I can decide If I want to pay 3,81$ more for BTA or not.
