Your own pocket, team effort, family and friends, local investors... Depends on your product, it's marketability and your reliability. The more people believe in you, the easier it is to get the money.

Let me add something here. You can do a lot without money at all. Let us say you are making an adventure game. You need a story + puzzles, engine and a script monkey, artist or a two, and a music guy.
You can use AGS (Resonance, The Journey Down) which is free, or trial version of Visionaire Studio (which can't compile the game, but it's 100% functional otherwise, and you can upgrade it later to full licence for just 35€ - it's used for Deponia, The Night of the Rabbit and so on). So, you already have a computer, you have the tools... You find some people ready to commit themselves to a mutual project, make a deal on how to split the profits and credits, and start working. Once you have something usable, go to IndieGoGo, if Kickstarter is not an option for you.
If you don't know people who could help, there's an entire Internet full of coders, artists and musicians willing to prove themselves and wait for the money until the product is finished and starts selling.

That's what I do, I depend on my savings right now, but it won't last long. Family and friends isn't an option. It is not a product I can come with to local investors (I think). And I have no name in the industry so I can't depend on marketability and your reliability.

Actually the "funding" I was talking about is funding for essential things in life, I do not need funding for spent resources on project (as the only thing I spend on this project is just my time). Only funding to actually be able to live, and use my time on the project.

In that case, the smartest thing would be to find a part-time job. You would not have the full wages, but you could survive and have enough time to work on your project. Or you can find a job in a programming studio, work for some time, save some money and then quit and go full indie.

At first was thinking to make an Indiegogo project for pre-alpha and then make a kickstarter when I reach beta, but I can't use kickstarter, so my only option is just Indiegogo for beta phase.

this question implies that before kickstarter no one could ever get funding for stuff.... think about that

The traditional funding is not something easy and usually impossible for a lone no-name person.

well im just saying kickstarter hasnt always been around. its relatively new when you think about it and how long the world survived without it.

does your government or any org in your country offer grants for any type of projects?

You mean spread around the word about it and ask people personally for funding?

I do consider to take a loan as a last resort, but it is not an idea I fancy that much. And if I take a job I will have barely any time to work on my project.

if you want to be an entrepreneur, get used to having very little time to sleep.
There is no easy way to become successful and finance through a third party at the stage without any real effort to show would mean earning almost nothing from the back of it.
Your best bet is to work and work on the project after/before work or during breaks. Making good money is rarely easy.

The same ways as any startup I think, but since is a game it would be much more difficult since I think usually business angels, venture capitalists and so on expect that you have something that you can demonstrate to work and sell and talking about games there are so many games and so many of them that does not make any profit that your project probably would not be considered.
In the end crowd founding maybe it's the best way to approach any funding for a game and also the one that make you have more feedback about what you are doing. Mmmh...maybe the family can be a resource of funding, but i think it's difficult or at least where I live would not understand the potential and the returns so this would not work.

Ok, the forum might not be the most suitable for this type of questions, but I'll try my luck; Is there a way to get funding for a project(game) before kickstartering it?
