I think this is the lowest price so far for Pandora, plus its bundled with a bunch of good stategy games.

Oh my, that's a nice bundle for those who like complex strategy games (and terrible for everyone else).

No idea how good Pandora is without the expansion (I've only played it with), but it's a better game than Civ: Beyond Earth.

but it's a better game than Civ: Beyond Earth.

From what I've heard of BE, that's a pretty low point of comparison. :X

Considerations about the inherent unmodded value of Civ games aside, Paradox games have gotten into a terrible habit of needing a fair amount of DLC content before they're actually well playable. :X
And oh, we do know how Paradox likes their DLC.. :X

BE is not a terrible game. It's better than Civ V was at launch, though as it's so similar to Civ V one can't help but compare it to how Civ V is now, and it's not a favourable comparison. Pandora is still not as good as Civ V with both expansions, nor is it as good as Alpha Centauri, but it is a solid game with some interesting mechanics.

And yeah, Paradox games tend to be DLC-feasts :( I felt that EU4 & CK2 were both fun without any DLC though, none of them felt truly mandatory, but I would not want to go back to how they were pre-DLC.

i've updated the scores slightly. Maybe you should re-look again and see? :O I don't want you to miss out on the bundle b/c of an error due to ITAD not updating the %s correctly.

I think Pandora is the only one of your review ratings that's actually matching up to what Steam is showing for me, for the games. o.O
For example, you list Ravenmark as 59% of 37 Reviews, Steam lists it as 74% of 31.

Steam issue, I guess? :/

Thanks as always for the bundle postings! :)

How odd. All the others were showing off by a bit [though not as notably as Ravenmark].

I guess the new Steam review update is bugging things up. :X

Thank you for the info rachellove

Little mistake --> Ravenmark: Scourge of Estellion is rated 74% positive on my screen (and not 59%)

Edit: Other ratings can be wrong too, steam bug it seems :/

Thankfully I don't care for World War themed games as a general rule, so I'm mostly safe.. then again, those two wishlisted ones at T2.. nnggh..
Why do bundles so often have to be so darn tempting :(
Especially at points when I have totally no money whatsoever to spare >_<

You can basically ignore Hearts of Iron 2 if you're looking for a complete version of the game- Darkest Hour and Arsenal of Democracy are the remakes of it, and have all the fan/modding/update support. As I recall, AoD is basically a polished, streamlined, improved version of HoI2, while DH is lacking a few of the features of AoD, but has several other features, and tons of mods to make up for it (and I believe still has active community support?).

In any case, the DH and AoD compare to HoI3- if playing vanilla HoI2 is more your style, I certainly won't knock it; Otherwise, consider the other two, instead. :)

(As far as LoS, you can always try e-mailing Bundlestars and see if they can revoke/reissue the key. Sometimes bundle sites'll do it. :) )

If you enjoyed Panzer General, look out for Panzer Corps , published by Slitherine too by the way, it's essentially a modern remake on PzGen ,with a ton of content

Wishlisted games you say? Well considering how much I enjoy your posts and general enthusiasm, and my appreciation for anyone who has love for a niche developer like Slitherine, you should check your friend invites on Steam ;).

Pandora looks like a half decent Civ rip-off, but as I already have Beyond Earth, not sure it's worth the price.

IMHO, the game is way batter than half-assed Beyond Earth.

Will grab Tier 2 for sure, maybe 3 depending how much I can spare on paydy.

Think of the prices as per game costs, and everything is much easier to evaluate:

Tier 1: $0.67 per game
Tier 2: $0.57 per game
Tier 3: $1.00 per game

So, the best deal is tier 2, and $0.57 per game is pretty cheap.

I'm a supporter of Slitherine, I hope this means they'll bring their Field of Glory series to Steam and/or GOG.They are an extremely niche war-gaming company but they want to compete with other serious publishers like Paradox and Firaxis, although the historical depth and accuracy of their games goes way beyond Civ and is easily on par with any of PI's titles.Their biggest drawback is the price, but most of their games are worth the cash.
