Violin dubstep?

Well, she plays well but I cant help but hate everything in it besides the violin.

Maybe I just don't get it, dubstep that is...

It's okay, except for the whole dubstep part.
Dubstep is awful

I wouldn't call this dubstep violin, honestly. The dub roaring was ambience for the violin, which is more melodic than dubstep typically is. (There are a few exceptions, Justice tends to be good at making dubstep melodic . . in the loosest sense)

I usually totally dislike anything that has to use dub noises, but this was quite a pleasure to hear.

Really dubstep jeez, I was listening to that crap years ago and mocking it, boy if my face red that it actually took off. At least it's not modern country.

Ben moon is an awesome orchestral dubstep artist. He uses acoustic guitar in a couple of his songs. I would link you, but I'm on my phone. he is worth a Google though.
