Don't worry, this also exists! Only as part of one ancient russian adventure game, but exactly in the form you wanted!

The very obscure late-90s Russian adventure game GAG: The Impotent Mystery includes a Tetris-like game with naked people who need to be matched together anatomically. I believe a standalone version of the Tetris minigame was distributed as a free demo for the full game.

Putin finding another way (other than waging wars and being an egocentric maniac) to show the world how macho he is.

this is actually a very funny story. they have a propagandist - openly gay and even sick with AIDS. he publicly called for the killing of Ukrainian children. drown and burn alive. and behold, he has nothing for it. absolutely. but Russian citizens are banned from lgbt games. and the most interesting thing is that they will swallow it too. more malleable people with the mentality of slaves will not be found anywhere else.

It's not only about games, looks like they are going to forbid any public mentions of LGBT in a positive or even neutral context (that's "propaganda") - and that includes any book or movie where this subject is mentioned. Our beloved government has fucked up and pretty much lost the war, but they do so need a victory, and considering that people are basically naturally xenophobic here, everything connected with LGBT looks like a perfect target.

In another couple of days, the Gaming Russians will be out there with guns and ready to start the offline game of the Russian Revolution.🤔
It is natural to assume that the regulation of such video games is the basis for forcibly recruiting such users to the battlefield, and if Russia knew what was going to happen on the front lines, it would crush the Russian government for good.
🇺🇦
🇷🇺
By the way, what was the Russian government's comment on these?
In other words, it is the nonsense of the self-proclaimed Russian government that cannot even function to that degree.

Never mind games. Soon there will be a flood of books about Ukraine. There will be stories about Bucha, about the occupation and liberation of Kherson, about the lives of refugees. Zelenskyy will probably publish a memoir about his nation's struggle.
Russians value literature very much and will see through these books what their country has done to the Ukrainians. Remorse and guilt might finally set in. If the Russian government survives, I expect it to start banning any books about Ukraine, that mention Ukraine or by Ukrainians authors. Complete totalitarianism. Let's hope we don't get there.

Many Russians haven't made it past the 17th century. They're still stuck in the imperialist mindset of the Romanov family. They want to be ruled by a Tsar and yearn for the the return of the great Russian empire. Some of the things I hear from Russians (especially older ones) are really bonkers e.g. Finland should be a part of Russia.

Just because ruSSia gets destroyed in the war and is just weak and weaker than it was a year ago does not mean you should be angry at games that putin will ban. He needs to flex his ego and his fragile masculinity because everyone knows he is worthless.
Slave mentality is not good for you.

It does matter though. Or is the person named "WagnerGroup_ZoV" on Battlefield 2042 has nothing to do with it and doesn't support what their gov does? The majority of people support it, just go see rus TikToks or Telegram channels.
And if they do, they need to be ready for this kind of shit too. I don't see them rebelling any time soon.

Oh, probably just articles 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 16, 19, 26, 27, 28, 29 & 30. And if we're talking about Russia as a whole, most likely all other articles as well. But I am sure you have read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, right?
Comment has been collapsed.
What? How is it impossible? I genuinely looked up the articles you mentioned. None of them are even remotely relevant. What are you actually saying? I'm not denying Russia has broken some of them, I'm saying within this specific topic, none of those rights have been infringed. I'm not unwilling to learn, why would I bother asking you to enlighten me if I was?
Comment has been collapsed.
Your main mistake seems to be that you're only looking at the rights of the gamers who won't be able to legally play these games anymore. Maybe you will get it when looking at the rights of the targeted LGBTQ+ people. They're human as well in case you forgot.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, people not being able to play these games was the point of this thread. Not the targetting of LGBT people by the Russian government. I never denied this is something that happens, just that there was no infringement of human rights within the topic in the thread.
Comment has been collapsed.
You think they're targetting LGBT people by banning a handful of games? I guess that makes sense, but ultimately this was a topic about the games being banned - not about discriminative targetting. It's not like you're wrong about LGBT people being denied rights in Russia, I was just wondering about the games specifically.

It literally says in the OP:
The first deputy chairman of State Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, has proposed that a number of video games featuring LGBTQIA characters are removed from circulation.
.
Russia considering ban on Apex Legends & Overwatch 2 over “LGBT propaganda”
.
Such a norm is contained in an amendment to the bill on LGBT propaganda
.
LGBT propaganda is also prohibited
And: yes, calling the mere existence of LGBTQ+ people in a game (or any media for that matter) "propaganda" is already an infringement on a lot of human rights. Lumping them together with stuff like drugs, suicide and calling that
an indecent form that offends human dignity and public morality, a clear disrespect for society, the state, official state symbols
does so as well.
Comment has been collapsed.
It is unclear if they plan to ban the whole Fallout franchise or just one game. It is also unclear if that's due to “LGBT propaganda” or one of the other things like "manufacture of drugs, as well as methods of suicide", which would probably fit for any Fallout game.
This doesn't change the fact, that this topic and the linked article is about banning games "featuring LGBTQIA characters".
Russia considering ban on Apex Legends & Overwatch 2 over “LGBT propaganda"
is literally the title of the linked article.
So do you understand now how this is about human rights? And how "Why do you care?" and "which human right is being infringed here? the right to play overwatch?" can be seen as disrespectful sassiness?

I am not letting you off the hook that easy. Remember your words?
I'm not unwilling to learn
So please answer my question:

I forgot about the shotgun marriage which I had to look up in the fallout wiki because that article doesn't even say where or when you can get married. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Davin

You can literally have sex with Sinthia as a female character in Fallout 1. Fallout 3 literally has Carol and Greta living together and Anthony Ling is referred to as a gay man. Also Flak and Shrapnel are gay.
The need to lie is honestly baffling when this is not only known in Fallout lore, but also is so damn easy to look up if you've never played the games or can't remember it. Even in Tactics there's the famous quote about the bandit's dog being gay.
I don't know what you gain out of making things up.

I've never denied anything about that though. I simply said that within the topic at hand there was no human right being broken. I'm well aware of Russia's track history but I simply pointed out that your comment about them infringing human rights in this instance was wrong. I guess I should've specified but considering this was a thread specifically about these games being banned I don't think it was too far fetched of an assumption.

I don't see how it would come to mind the man asked why they care and you instantly jumped at human rights as if playing Apex was a human right just like how you instantly jumped at me because I questioned you despite not being even remotely disrespectful in how either of us formed our questions.

I'm sorry if my first post came out as sassy, it wasn't my intention and while I'm still certain the post wasn't aggressive I think I can see how it can come off as disingenous or malicious, I do absolutely disagree with it being obtuse though as I've said it quite literally asks which right was being infringed but again I understand how it can come off as wrong so i guess that last point is moot.
I've not been shooting for a quick gotcha, I jumped in because I saw both Fallout and Divinity in the list of banned games, both games which I dearly love and are to my knowledge extremely popular on Russia, and with Fallout specially there's no LGBT representation in the first 4~ games as I can remember and so I wanted to see what people were saying about that if it was true at all because as I've said the older games dont have any LGBT stuff in them.
I'm not trying to create any framing either. I simply asked how banning these games was infringing any right and you instantly jumped at me. I decided to back off initially because I know better than to engage on people that are upset but jumped back in because you said i was backing off when 'presented with a challenge' which was not the case at all.
There's nothing purposefully ignorant in any of my posts. If they can come off as that then I'm sorry but as I've said not only was that not my intention, but the way you responded was completely alien to me. I asked a question, not shat on your cereal.
Initially I was simply curious as to what rights this could've violated but honestly I think at this point this is getting way out of topic and I've no interest in mundane online drama so as sorry as I am to have upset you, wether due to bad wording or ignorance, I'm not gonna pursue this any further but I hope my intentions are clear now.

I understand how it relates to human rights and I absolutely think any discrimination against a group of people, regardless of the group in question, is not just stupid but outright oppressive. I'm not someone who's LGBT so I can't ever speak for them but I think people should have the right to live as they please and should be judged for their actions and not their background. I'm not Russian so truthfully I can't speak for what the LGBT Russian experience is like but I will say that I think it's outright immoral to ban works that may contain depictions of LGBT people although unlike other people in this thread I don't think it's done for the purpose of feeling more 'macho' or whatever; Russia is at war, and war is first fueled by the people of the nations, but if your people have no loyalty to you then you don't have fuel for your war machine, and I believe that is the main reason for Russia to ban these works as they do depict a culture different from theirs; I think if the Russian people were to believe that life outside of Russia would be better for them, they wouldn't support its nation as they'd have no reason to, and with no support there wouldn't be resources to wage war with.
In a vacuum, I don't think banning a handful of games infringes any rights, even if I think it's a pretty dumb thing to do. But I don't think it's so much about that as it is about making sure the people in Russia don't know any better and keep supporting Putin;
their rights be damned if they need to be. I think this violates human rights even if I don't think that was the reason Russia is banning this stuff.
As I've said before I do agree that people in Russia have a lot of rights taken from them. I just don't think specifically banning games is part of those rights, because Russians will still be able to just use a VPN to play them in the worst of cases, and there's no way their government isn't aware of this; but as I've said before I'm not Russian so I can't speak for them.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah I can see where you're coming from, I didn't think of the possibility of the government just outright pretending they don't exist. Discrimination also is always going to exist no matter what, I don't exactly approve of it towards LGBT people but I don't like when people do it to Russians either, which is something that also happens. I do still think it's done for the purpose of fueling their war but it's not like that excuses it anyway.

"The first deputy chairman of State Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, has proposed that a number of video games featuring LGBTQIA characters are removed from circulation. "
Russia considering ban on Apex Legends & Overwatch 2 over “LGBT propaganda”
from here (machine translation):
Russia may ban the distribution of computer games that promote pornography, cruelty and violence, as well as containing profanity.
Such a norm is contained in an amendment to the bill on LGBT propaganda, which was developed by the first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Education Yana Lantratova <...>
In addition, it is proposed to ban games that may contain information about the manufacture of drugs, as well as methods of suicide. Games that can incline a minor to illegal actions may also be banned. LGBT propaganda is also prohibited
