Another Sonic thread . . .

MARIO is my HERO

Dynasty Warriors! But if my choice is between Mario and Sonic, pretty dumb question ... consensus would have to be Mario.

Mario has easily won, but Sonic has been very adventurous and has thus been its downfall. But i am excited to see what Sega can doo with the Sonic franchise and I hope Mario evolves

Although I love Sonic, I enjoyed the Mario games more. Especially Super Mario 64!

I'd go with Mario. Love Sonic but Mario had the best games.

Mario won. I like Sonic more.

Sonic has better titles, but had a lot of crappy titles around the good ones. Mario has more titles that are consistantly good, with a lot less crap on the side.

Mario because of the solid library.

Sonic never had any ahsum RPGs or a game that could top Mario 64. While I love both, Mario wins hands down for me.

Yep. Mario wins. Sonic became repetitive to me. When I think what adventures I had with Mario, starting with the games "Donkey Kong" and "Mario Bros", we've had an awesome childhood together. Best plumber ever. Then Super Mario Bros. and The Lost Levels and off course the best part: Super Mario Bros. 3.... Holy cow, I want the good old days (as well as my NES and SNES) back! Super Mario 64 was the last Mario game I really enjoyed. But I can't tell which Sonic game I've really enjoyed.

All I remember of Sonic was rushing through huge levels at ultimative fluid, high fps. Which was great, but by far not enough.

After Sonic Adventure 2, there has been no good titles in the series. So the trophy for who won the war goes to Mario. Sega may do what Nintendon't but Nintendo is still playing with enough power to stay alive versus Microsoft and Sony.
