I have no problem sliding with kb+mouse, since I bind the crouch key to mouse, that made me slide way easier; I dont plan to use controller because of aiming.

You can ! I play it with controller (xbox one controller for pc). I enjoy it better with this ;). Its good to give a try

I used a 360 controller, which you can tweak using Pinnacle if need be to get it just how you like it. It's been a while since I played (practically took an intervention to get me to stop playing it), so I think that there have actually been a few improvements to controller support as well, which was long overdue. In my opinion, you're much better off playing the game with a controller, because what you gain in accuracy using a mouse, you will be sacrificing in the fluidity of parkour and combo moves that the controller affords. And that is where the game really shines, after all. Welcome to your new gaming addiction. :D

I place the slide/crouch on to one of two side buttons on my mouse. Try that maybe?

Yeah you can, I have xbox one s controller and it's work perfectly.
I use mouse and keyboard though since i rarely slide :P
