I had this incredible idea with another member of this forum, and i wanna know if there's anybody who wants to help me to improve my english, i'm brazilian! thanks !!

Just watch some Shows and play some Games in English, you learn the Language in no time.
English is pretty easy.

While it is a good way to learn it, actual talking/chatting with someone who has it as native language helps even more. Watching shows and playing games do help a lot in the actual comprehension of the language, but they are lack lackluster on the "communication" part.

True. I can read, write and listen but I hardly can just talk to someone and that's kinda sucks :(

Hey, don't worry, I have problem with writing and that's really annoying ;) When speaking is useful in real life, in internet it's hard to write anything and THAT kinda sucks :P

btw In Star Trek TNG, Captain Picard has a French name and yet he speaks with an English accent :)

You're right, i jumped from watching shows and playing games to listening to podcast's and other kind of live commentary which helped a lot on the "communication" part, but actually talking to people is probably the best thing one could do.

It's probably just me, but i didn't want to annoy people with my crappy english so i tried to make it as perfect as possible before actually using it on a regular basis.

I think that English grammar is somehow complicated, though yes, it's enough easy =) As BernardoOne said, it's also a good think to talk/chat with native speakers. Writing fluently is not the same thing as speaking ;)

English is my native language (Im from the U.S.A (I find america to be an incorrect term)), I wish i could learn spanish easier though (nearly failed my spanish 2 final). Even though it has nearly no use on the internet....

Look man i from Egypt and i learned English from reading some news paper on internet and playing games and talking with others

If you want to improve try to talk with other friend from US or UK and don't forget grammar it very important for talk
