I'd be more surprised if he didn't tbh, given how much of his life he spent outside of North Korea.

There are also thousands of foreigners living in Pyongyang, nearly all with internet access.

A quick search of his steam id reveals a dota 2 trading forum post where he states that he is from Germany, probably embassy staff
