Is there something with the "hide giveaway" function?

Games I put in the "hide" category are appearing again, is there a limit to how many game I can hide? Is this normal?

No limit, i have blocked myself over 20000 games

I think it blocks the steam id of the game and every version of a game should have a unique steam id, so you will have to block each version. If you are seeing all of the games you blocked, you may have disabled the setting to hide the games on this page: https://www.steamgifts.com/account/settings/giveaways

you can search your blocked GAs and see that there was a previous version still being blocked.
