Guys, what do you think about IndieGala? Do you think that they will have Happy Hours? And are you going to buy it without happy hours? I'm not going to buy it without Happy Hours.

I usually don't care, if I want a bundle I simply buy it.But if it happens to be happy hour why not!

Aha. Well, I'm pretty sure from what they wrote in their FAQ is that there won't be happy hours if I'm right and it's gonna be Magicka. There'll only ever be happy hours if all included titles are total shit or games that do not sell at all any more (which Magicka clearly does).

There probably won't be any happy hour for the flashpoint bundle, since it's ending today and new bundle will be released. Proof

That bundle will most probably replace Indie Gala Sigma. They even wrote that they added more time to Sigma, because they couldn't yet launch Magicka.

They might be pissed off because of the group buys.

I don know, they usually sell about 20k with happy hours bundles (and you must count some of them are 4x1 sales) and the flashpoint bundle sold almost 17k without happy hour, so I think it´s a profit deal for them

After they changed Happy Hours to BTA only I don't care anymore of this.

They didn't "change" anything. This is the first time there'll be no HH.

Don't quote me on the exact workings as I don't buy them anymore, but I believe the last bundle required a BTA purchase in order to make use of Happy Hour where as previous bundles could do it with non-BTA so long as it was within the first week.

That's what they were referring to.

Right, I get it now. That's true.

Just by saying "This is the first time there'll be no HH" that would be a change, would it not?

It happened with the other bundle I don't recall the name - no happy hour until the end and then the timer is extended. I wonder if this is their new marketing strategy. Glad I'm not fooled this time.
