Not me, I'm not signing in to youtube:( Is there a version or site that doesn't have the content warning? edit: I've seen it now, it looks great, but I'll probably wait for the enhanced version this time, so I don't have to download so much.

When such situation occurs just change the movie url (substitute "watch?v=" part with "embed/"). In this case

FROM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqQ3LeBgGDM
TO: http://www.youtube.com/embed/MqQ3LeBgGDM

Simply Majestic doesn't even cover it, it was gods work, the god of trailers if you will. 1 look and your eyes begin to pulsate and melt, your soul starts to disintegrate and shrivel away, your body dries up and withers. This is no simple trailer THIS IS GOD. (I liked it)

I will probably have to buy PS4 to play it... but I dunno it depends on whether it will have native language of game with subtitles option. IMHO the actors just sound better in native version

I never really liked the other two witchers. The games aren't bad it's just that it wasn't for me. I can easily see why people enjoy it but meh not my cup of tea. Plus I loved Skyrim but it could have been better. Still no RPG can beat KOTOR 1 + 2. Still the best RPGs ever.

This Witcher will be totally different, with open world a la sandbox, like improved Skyrim (much better story). You should give him a chance ;)

I'm sure that if he simply gives it time and checks it out thoroughly, later, he will be able to make a sound decision about whether or not he will enjoy it. By that time, he can probably get the game on sale for a much lower price.

True, waiting for sales will save him a nice amount of money.

I could run TW2 on almost max(anyway more than medium, or even max)on a AMD HD 5770,Quad Core 2.6Ghz(Athlon X2 I think) and 2Gb of RAM.

Not in 1080p with an acceptable framerate.

My screen has 1920x1080 and I could run it on a very good framerate, but as I said I am not sure about the specs.Anyway it was an awesome game for PC.I like that CD Projekt Red really cares about their customers and PC gamers :)

I really hope their train of thought wasn't "I heard Skyrim is really popular...", even if Witcher 3 ends up being good, it'll most likely signify the death of CDProjekt as a good developer.

I am really excited about TW3, but it's nothing alike Skyrim. Ok, it is an rpg open world game set in a medieval fantastic world, full stop. Well, if you say it like that they are kinda similar XD... but I think Skyrim and TW3 aim for different things, different audience and in general the whole experience will be different.

However, as I've already said I can't wait to try a TW2 set in an open world, which story is about the Wild Hunt. In fact, the topic appeals me ever more than the game itself, and that's a lot.

Sorry, I've kept watching it again and again and than... again... I'm enthralled by it...

Did anyone noticed those flocks of birds flying in the sky? (46 sec)

Or that colourful flapping rags drying in wind (51 sec)

I feel like a little kid in candy shop...

The Witcher is a awesome series, CD Project Red is a great Dev i look forward to The Witcher 3 too bad I probably wont be able to run on high let alone medium.

Any clue what its requirements will be?

The game world looks so amazing

The game is designed for the last generation of consoles, which are technically very similar to PC. So I would bet on 6-8 GB RAM, DirectX 11 GPU and quad core CPU (like Intel Core i5/i7).

You can have 32 GB of RAM and it wouldn't do a difference.I don't think there is any game that uses more than a couple of GB

New COD being a nextgen port requires 6GB RAM, recommended 8. I hope that W3 will be less demanding, but it's a nextgen game too.

"Nextgen" artificially requiring 6GB of RAM and usage of total system RAM 2GB with browser, skype and other stuff on the background and still it manages to look like 08 title with severe performance issues.

Nah, sorry. Good graphics and open world won't make me like the game immediately. I loved the 1st Witcher, I played through multiple times and will play it again. After I finished the game, I went to read all of the books and loved them as well. I was so excited about Witcher 2... and all I got was an action game with dynamic combat, where I didn't even need to use any potions, the story was rather poor (can't be ever compared to story from W1, which was amazing). Even the characters seemed unsympathetic to me. The only improvement W2 offered were better graphics (at the cost of high performance requirements), that's probably why so many people were hyped about the game.

Nah, I'm not excited for W3, not at all.

Would you recommend reading the books before playing The Witcher or the other way around?

Permalink

It doesn't matter, the story is quite different. The books are definitely worth reading if you're into fantasy.

Permalink

The game is after the book times. But it's not continuation of book. If you are able to chose, then go with books first, then game.

the game actually butchers some characters from the books. I for one can't get over it and games are unplayable for me cause they create own crappy continuation that doesn't make sense and I love the books since I was a child.

I actually loved W1 graphics and i found W2 less appealing aesthetic-wise. It's like they've thrown away the east-european Slavic style in favor of typical fantasy one. Huge step backwards. I loved both games though.

lol @ Skyrim being dead. Skyrim is still very much alive so that's kind of an ignorant statement. Maybe Bethesda isn't making new content for it, but the modders will keep it alive until the next TES installment.

That being said I cannot wait for The Witcher 3

Forever? Absolutely not, but it's usually within the top 5 in players on Steam. If the top 5 games on steam are considered dead then we have bigger issues.

Erm... why the hell some people tend to interpret all things verbatim et literatim...you were born with ability called "abstractive thinking" why don't you USE IT now?

Dude you realize that Skyrim and Witcher is just a game? It can't die. It's not even alive.

I used phrase "the King is dead, long live the King!" as a metaphore that there is on the horizon game that might be better. Do you really think people will stop playing Skyrim just because other game was released? Dude just chill out.

If you're going to use figurative speech, prepare to be misunderstood. This is the internet, after all, and inflection doesn't carry well over text.

I still don't see why people have to be so obnoxious for no apparent reason. It's possible to disagree and argue without being offensive, so why can't people manage it in civil discourse?

I love the world that the novels/games are set in and that (for me) is the most important part of a game. Combined with awesome graphics, good combat system, and free roaming? Hell yeah I'm excited.

It means the game should be more advanced graphics-wise and mechanics-wise. Good thing for a game itself, bad thing for a poor budget gamer.
