So we all like movies and we all have our various tastes.

But I think that a lot of us can agree that movie monsters are great. But we all have different tastes in them. Be it zombies, werewolves, vampires or giant dinosaurs.

What are the kinds of movie monsters you all like the best? And yes, I will accept that humanity as being the biggest monster in ANY movie.

I've got no favourite kind of monsters, but the creature below was pretty awesome. And yes, humans were obviously the real monsters in this movie (like in every del Toro's film I've seen).

For me, the more bizarre they are, the better. Like the human fly in "The Fly" (1986) or the weird thing in... "The Thing" (1982). I am particularly fan of Cronenberg's monsters.

Dont know if it classifies but I would put my favorite monsters in movies as demons. You know - the ones from hell that possess and torture and kill everything and everyone thats gets in their way. For example - the nun, crooked man, annabelle

To me the xenomorph still is the best looking one, the perfect balance between a creature that sorta seems possible while also completely breaking the rules of what one might consider "normal". Its design speaks to the more instictive part of the mind.

Well, in general, zombies are my favorite monsters. Of those, I can mention the classic Romero zombies (especially in Day of the Dead, where the effects were a massive step up from the previous movies), the 28 Days Later zombies which popularized the super agile and fast zombies, the smart zombies from Land of the Dead and the also super fast zombies from the Zack Snyder Dawn of the Dead remake (which is really good). Cargo offers a slightly different take on zombies, which is also fun. There are many, many more good ones, but that's for another time. Apart from zombies, the monster from Babadook is fantastic. And we can't talk about monsters in movies without mentioning the king of them all.

The Thing is a classic one that I absolutely love. IT is an idea that has never really been done justice but the recent movies sort of do him justice, if only a little too flashy.

The Thing, and Xenomorphs are my favorites.

But I won't say no to some nice oversized Kaiju either. Or bizarre mutants like the various NecroBorg from Meatball Machine.

Kaiju are my monsters of choice; Gigan is my favorite. I also like the creepy ghost from Mama; if I were in a monster movie, that'd be me.
