Why I have a love/hate relationship with Dota 2.

tldr

I've never played an actual beast match, because my "team" and I did very bad in the trainings.

From the tokens I earned during normal matches I got an uncommon "Auspicious Nomad's Barbed Edge" - no idea if it's good or not, but it goes for a few cents on the market, so I guess it's pretty much worthless.

I just read that ingots and tokens will vanish next Tuesday :(

Maybe it's time to give it another try ...

Gotta go for the 2.5k beast fights. The people doing those usually know the best strategies.

I haven't played much since Diretide, I kinda want to play it again but the updates/big changes put me off. I feel so noob now when I try to play. :/

People seem to like Necro because you can insta kill the tail with his stun (at a certain amount of its health???). So, Necro is probably a decent pick.

Only reason to take part in the events is to cash in. Buy items then immediately selling them on the market. Save Steamwallet monies up for a decent game you want, then playing that instead of DOTA2. Its how I paid for most of my spending during the last few Steam sales.

I got laughed at for playing Omniknight "badly" during the Wraith Night event. I was the only one not to die and we finished twice in a row. The community is terrible and best just ignored
