Do think this is a coincidence?
Possibly sponsored content, but it just as likely could be that they chose to match release dates and create the video without compensation. Quick check shows they release new videos every Tuesday so it isn't as obvious as it could be. Need a maybe poll option.

If it is sponsored I think it would be nice to be told it is. I only noticed that the vid and the game release coincided because I was watching Phil de Franco and he mentioned the honest game trailer when earlier I was on steam and saw Shaq in my new releases feed. I do not consider this the crime to the century to not be told if it was a sponsored video. buuuut it kinda feel sleazy if it was sponsored and we weren't told. Does that make sense?

It feels off because we've split from the true timeline, where the game actually starred Sinbad.

Isn't Sindbad still on the run because of that whole 40 thieves incident?

So this game just came out Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn
but at the same time Smosh Games released this youtube video
I feel like this youtube video is a form of advertisement without disclosing that it is an advert. Am I thinking too much about this?
